Getting a new coffee machine is always a daunting task because you never really know what you are going to be getting. So when getting the DeLonghi Nescafe Dolce Gusto there was a fair amount of insecurity about whether this would be a good or bad experience. However, the experience that was had with this machine was more than good enough to ensure that it is well worth the cost.
The Nescafe Dolce Gusto works with pods, which means that there is no mess to clean up after you make a coffee. This is a problem that you have with the traditional coffee makers where you need to clean out the coffee grounds after each use. The pods are very easy to use and leave a clean machine after. Of course, there are a limited number of flavours that you can get, but the ones available are more than enough for most people.
The machine is also very easy to use. This is important considering the fact that the Dolce Gusto does not only make coffee, but other warm drinks as well. Being able to easily use the machine to make the drink that you want is very important. There is nothing worse than making the wrong drink because you cannot work out how to use the machine.
The Dolce Gusto is wonderful for the whole family because of the range of drinks available. Some members of the family enjoy the coffee drinks while others enjoy the hit chocolate. There are also some harder to make drinks like a chai latte or macchiato which can easily be made with the machine. It is simply a matter of getting the right pods to make the drinks.
While this coffee machine is really great there are a couple of downsides that need to be addressed. The first is that the manual for the machine uses pictures instead of words. While this is idea for the easier to make drinks when things get a bit difficult it can be hard to follow. Of course, there are some people who find the images to be easier to use than a fully written manual. The other problem with the machine is the cost of the pods. If you are going to use milk in your coffee then you might find these pods to be a bit on the expensive side. There are also certain pods that you are only able to purchase online like the ones for ‘skinny’ drinks. This can be a bit annoying if you run out as you are not able to nip to the store to get some more.
Overall, the DeLonghi Nescafe Dolce Gusto is a very good coffee machine to get. The machine itself is affordable, but there are certain pods which could be classed as expensive. Some people may find the manual hard to use at times because it is fully comprised of images. However, this can also make it easier to use when you first get the machine. This is a very good coffee machine that offers a drinks range which suits the whole family.
